Effective interactions between nuclear clusters

چکیده
The effective interactions between two nuclear clusters, $d+d$, $t+t$, and $\alpha+\alpha$, are investigated within a cluster model using local nucleon-nucleon~($NN$) forces. It is shown that the interaction in spin-aligned $d+d$ system repulsive for all inter-cluster distances, whereas $\alpha+\alpha$ $t+t$ systems attractive at intermediate distances. Pauli blocking identical-nucleon pairs responsible cluster-cluster repulsion becomes dominant shallow binding limit. We demonstrate $d$-clusters could be bound if $NN$ force has nonzero range strong enough to form deeply $d$-cluster, or both even-parity odd-parity attraction. Effective dimer-dimer general quantum of two-component fermions also discussed heavy-light mass limit, where one component much heavier than other, their relation discussed. Our findings provide conceptual foundation conclusions obtained numerically literature, increasing strength part nucleon-nucleon results more interaction.

Nuclear clusters with Halo Effective Field Theory
At low energies, few-body systems with large scattering length exhibit universal features (universality) that are independent of the interaction details. Some consequences are the existence of a shallow bound state and the Efimov effect1 in the twoand three-body sectors, respectively. These universal properties have a wide range of applications, from particle and nuclear to atomic and molecular...
متن کاملEffective interactions for the nuclear shell model
Various perturbative and non-perturbative many-body techniques are discussed in this work. Especially, we will focus on the summation of so-called Parquet diagrams with emphasis on applications to finite nuclei. Here, the subset of two-body Parquet equations will be discussed. A practical implementation of the corresponding equations for studies of effective interactions for finite nuclei is ou...
متن کاملRealistic Effective Interactions and Nuclear Structure Calculations
We address the two main questions relevant to microscopic nuclear structure calculations starting from a free NN potential. These concern the accuracy of these kinds of calculations and the extent to which they depend on the potential used as input. Regarding the first question, we present some results obtained for nuclei around doubly magic Sn and Pb by making use of an effective interaction d...

We perform monomer-resolved computer simulations of fourth-generation charged dendrimers at various conditions of charging (full, terminal and neutral) and for different values of the spacer length P connecting the branching nodes, fromP1⁄4 1 toP1⁄4 6.We examine the sizes, overlaps and effective forces between the centers ofmass of the dendrimers with andwithout addedmonovalent and divalent sal...
